Atlanta Police Seek Public’s Help in December Shooting of 9-Year-Old and Woman
Investigators with the Atlanta Police Department are asking for the public’s help identifying suspects and a vehicle connected to a shooting that injured a child and an adult late last year.
According to police, the incident happened on December 10, 2025, around 9:48 p.m., at an apartment complex in the 3000 block of Continental Colony Parkway SW. Officers responding to a call of a person shot arrived to find a 9-year-old boy with an apparent gunshot wound to his right leg and a 33-year-old woman with apparent gunshot wounds to her left leg.
Both victims were conscious, alert, and breathing when officers arrived. They were transported to a local hospital for treatment. Their current conditions have not been released.
Detectives from APD’s Aggravated Assault Unit responded to the scene and are actively investigating the circumstances surrounding the shooting. Police have released surveillance video showing the suspects and a photograph of a vehicle believed to be involved, hoping someone will recognize them and come forward with information.
The investigation remains ongoing.
