Two Arrested After Deputies Seize Meth, Fentanyl And Firearm In Loganville Drug Raid

WALTON COUNTY, Ga. – A narcotics investigation led to the arrest of two people and the seizure of large quantities of illegal drugs and a firearm during a search at a Loganville residence, authorities said.

According to the Walton County Sheriff’s Office, deputies executed arrest and search warrants on Jan. 21, 2026, at a home on New Horizon Drive as part of an ongoing drug investigation.

During the search, investigators recovered approximately 450 grams of methamphetamine, about 20 grams of fentanyl, methadone pills, and a firearm.

As a result of the operation, John Koldewey was arrested and charged with trafficking methamphetamine, trafficking fentanyl, possession of a Schedule II controlled substance, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime, possession of drug-related objects, and crossing the guard line with drugs.

Jennifer Weathers was also arrested and charged with trafficking fentanyl, possession of a Schedule II controlled substance, and possession of drug-related objects.

Both suspects were taken into custody as the investigation continues.
