Giving back has always been central to the Macon Bacon’s mission. Beyond baseball, the organization focuses on creating opportunities in healthcare, education, and community services, while also drawing visitors from across the state to Macon’s landmarks, restaurants, bars, hotels, and local businesses.
Managing Partner and President Brandon Raphael credited the team’s partners and fans for making the year’s impact possible.
“We are so proud of the work we do with our partners and the impact of their community initiatives,” Raphael said. “Every year, it’s a blessing to see how many lives we touch through these programs. I’m especially grateful for the many new events we hosted this year and the economic impact they had on our community.”
Raphael pointed to major events hosted at Luther Williams Field, including the All-Star Game and an official Atlanta Falcons watch party, which brought fans from across the region to Macon. Those visitors, he said, had the chance to experience the city’s history, culture, and local businesses, extending the team’s impact well beyond the ballpark.
Throughout 2025, the Macon Bacon used their platform to combine entertainment with purpose, turning games and special events into opportunities to support nonprofits and strengthen Middle Georgia’s economy.
Looking ahead, the Macon Bacon and their corporate partners are already planning for 2026, with a continued focus on expanding community initiatives, hosting meaningful events, and increasing their positive impact both on and off the field.
