Two Tennille Residents, Including Correctional Officer, Arrested After Drug and Gun Bust

TENNILLE, GA – The Ocmulgee Drug Task Force has arrested two Tennille residents following a search warrant that uncovered multiple illegal drugs and firearms inside a home on Joiner Road.

Quentavious Daveon Peacock, 34, and Adriana Carnelio, 27, were taken into custody after investigators executed the warrant on January 14th with assistance from Washington County deputies and officers with the Georgia Department of Community Supervision.

During the search, law enforcement seized suspected marijuana, crack cocaine, powder cocaine, and methamphetamine, along with two firearms.

Peacock faces a long list of charges, including multiple counts of possession with intent to distribute marijuana, cocaine, crack cocaine, and methamphetamine, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime, and theft of lost or mislaid property.

Carnelio was charged with possession with intent to distribute marijuana, cocaine, crack cocaine, and methamphetamine, two counts of possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime, and theft of lost or mislaid property.

Investigators confirmed Carnelio is currently employed as a correctional officer with the Georgia Department of Corrections at Washington State Prison.

Both suspects were booked into the Washington County Jail. The investigation involved assistance from the GBI Middle Georgia Gang Task Force and the Washington County Sheriff’s Office.

Based in Milledgeville, the Ocmulgee DTF operates as part of the Middle Georgia Gang Task Force.
