18-Year-Old Arrested After Domestic Violence Call in Macon

MACON, GA – On Sunday, January 18th, a man was taken into custody after Bibb County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to a domestic violence call at a residence off Forest Avenue.

According to the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office, patrol division deputies arrived at the home and found a female victim who had been physically assaulted. Deputies also observed significant damage inside the residence consistent with a violent disturbance.

The male suspect was located inside the home and taken into custody without further incident. He was transported to the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office Law Enforcement Center, where he was charged with Battery and Criminal Damage to Property in the First Degree.

The suspect was identified as 18-year-old Navon Sams.
