MACON, Ga. – Investigators with the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office uncovered multiple firearms, ammunition, gang-related items, and fentanyl test strips while executing a search warrant connected to a suspected narcotics dealer, authorities said.

The warrant was served at a storage unit on Pio Nono Avenue as part of an investigation tied to an earlier arrest on Romeiser Drive. According to investigators, the search was carried out by the sheriff’s office Drug Unit and Gang Unit as the case expanded beyond the initial arrest.

The individual previously taken into custody in the investigation faces charges of possession of methamphetamine, possession of fentanyl, and possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, according to the sheriff’s office.

Investigators said the evidence recovered during the search supports allegations of ongoing narcotics activity and possible gang involvement. No additional arrests were announced.

The case remains under investigation by the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigation Division.
