Georgia Man Arrested for Child Exploitation, Hidden Cameras, and Drugs in Muscogee County
MUSCOGEE COUNTY, GA – On January 6, 2026, the Muscogee County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) Collaborative Intelligence Group (CIG), in coordination with the Opelika Police Department, executed a search warrant at the home of Don Anthony LeBeouf in Muscogee County. The investigation began after the Opelika Police Department contacted MCSO on January 5 regarding suspected criminal activity.
During the search, deputies seized multiple cameras, cellular phones, and other digital storage devices, along with seven firearms—including shotguns, rifles, and pistols—and 90 pills of un-prescribed alprazolam, a Schedule IV controlled substance.
Investigators also discovered a hidden video surveillance camera inside a bathroom vent, placed to record occupants. At the time of the search, seven children were inside the residence.
LeBeouf remains in the Lee County Jail on charges filed by the Opelika Police Department. In Muscogee County, MCSO is issuing additional warrants against him, including:
- Seven counts of unlawful eavesdropping and surveillance
- Three counts of sexual exploitation of children
- Violation of the Georgia Controlled Substance Act – Schedule IV (Alprazolam)
The investigation is ongoing, with deputies conducting interviews and reviewing digital evidence. Authorities warn that additional charges and warrants may be forthcoming as the case develops.
