Bibb County Deputies Investigate Armed Robbery at Broadway Mini Mart in Macon

MACON, GA – The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating an armed robbery at a Macon convenience store Monday night, January 5th.

Deputies say the robbery happened around 8:29 p.m. at the Broadway Mini Mart, located at 4205 Broadway, after a call was received by the Macon-Bibb Emergency 911 Center.

According to investigators, two armed suspects entered the business, displayed firearms, and demanded money from the store clerk. The suspects fled the store with an undisclosed amount of cash. Once outside, they were joined by a third suspect, and all three ran westbound on Charlotte Street.

No injuries were reported during the incident.

Authorities described two of the suspects as males wearing all dark clothing with hoodies. The third suspect was wearing a blue and white hoodie. An image from the store’s surveillance system has been released as part of the investigation.

The case remains under active investigation, and additional information is expected to be released as it becomes available.
