Albany Police Seek Public Help on 10 Active Homicide Cases from 2025

ALBANY, GA – The Albany Police Department is asking for the public’s help in solving 10 active homicide cases from 2025. Of the 23 homicides that occurred in the city last year, 13 cases have been cleared, leaving 10 still under investigation. This represents a clearance rate of approximately 56.5%.

Law enforcement officials emphasized that even small details from the community can be crucial to bringing justice to victims and their families. “We know that members of the community may have seen or heard things that could be key to solving these cases,” the department stated.

The remaining active homicide cases include:

  • 400 Block of Lipsey Drive – Jesus Arango, 55
  • 1900 Block of Radium Springs Road – Justin Cameron Moore, 22
  • 100 Block of N. Mock Road – Rasheed Moore, age unknown
  • West Broad Ave & Front Street – Malcolm Davis, 36
  • 1400 Block of E. Residence Ave. – Johnthan Wimbish, 29
  • 2800 Block of Rosebrier Ave. – John Doe (Unidentified), age unknown
  • 300 Block of Carriage Lane – Jabion Jackson, 19
  • 1100 Block of W. Waddell Avenue – Allen Plummer, 41
  • 2700 Block of Joshua Street – Sadarius Lewis, 38
  • 1700 Block of W. Broad Avenue – Jazian Harris, 17
  • 500 Block of Swift Street – Lovontray Sims, 31

Anyone with information is urged to contact the Albany Police Department at 229-431-2100, or submit an anonymous tip through Crime Stoppers at 229-436-TIPS (8477).

The department noted that public cooperation is vital in ensuring that those responsible are held accountable and to help make Albany a safer community.
