Wanted Felon Arrested After Backing Into Four Sheriff Vehicles in Downtown Dublin

On Friday, December 27, 2024, Laurens County Sheriff’s Office (LCSO) deputies apprehended a wanted felon with outstanding warrants from four jurisdictions after a coordinated effort in downtown Dublin.

Deputies received a tip that the suspect, known for fleeing from the LCSO, Georgia State Police, and Dublin Police Department multiple times, was at the Sea Shells restaurant on Jackson Street.

Acting on the tip, deputies surrounded the suspect’s truck in the parking lot. In an attempt to escape, the individual backed into four sheriff vehicles but was ultimately arrested without further incident.

No deputies were injured during the arrest. The suspect is now in custody, facing charges related to this incident in addition to his outstanding warrants.
