Atlanta Police Seek Suspect in Fatal Stabbing Near Trinity Avenue

Investigators with the Atlanta Police Department’s Homicide Unit are requesting public assistance in identifying a male suspect wanted in connection with a homicide that occurred on December 14, 2024, near 133 Trinity Ave. SW in South Downtown.

At approximately 4:24 a.m., Atlanta Police Zone 5 officers responded to a report of a person stabbed in the area. Upon arrival, officers found a 54-year-old male victim who had sustained an apparent stab wound. The victim was pronounced deceased at the scene by responding medical personnel.

Surveillance footage of the suspect has been released as investigators continue their search.
