Dahlonega Man Arrested for Methamphetamine Trafficking and Marijuana Distribution
The Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI) has arrested 43-year-old Kevin Wayne Oliver of Dahlonega, GA, on charges of Trafficking Methamphetamine and Possession of Marijuana with Intent to Distribute.
On December 6, 2024, Oliver was taken into custody at a home in Dahlonega on a Probation Violation warrant. Following his arrest, a search of his property led to the discovery of over 150 grams of suspected methamphetamine and approximately 6 ounces of suspected marijuana.
Oliver was booked into the Lumpkin County Detention Center. The Lumpkin County Sheriff’s Office and the GBI Appalachian Regional Drug Enforcement Office were involved in the investigation, which remains active and ongoing.
