Two Arrested in Riverside Drive Motel Raid; Methamphetamine and Firearm Seized
The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office Special Investigations Unit, Georgia Bureau of Investigation Gang Task Force, and U.S. Marshals apprehended a wanted fugitive and a woman at a Riverside Drive motel during a warrant operation.
During the raid, deputies discovered a handgun, 130 grams of methamphetamine, and multiple digital scales.
The male suspect was transported to the Houston County Law Enforcement Center on a probation warrant for a prior methamphetamine offense and faces additional charges, including:
- Trafficking Methamphetamine
- Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon
- Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of a Felony
The female suspect was taken to the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office and charged with:
- Trafficking Methamphetamine
- Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon
- Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of a Felony
