Drug Dealer Caught Driving Drunk in Athens
Last week, a routine traffic stop on Milledge Avenue led to the arrest of a driver under the influence and the discovery of illegal items. Athens-Clarke County Senior Police Officer Zachary Davis, assisted by Officers Clay Cochran, Bobby Pittman, and Austin Busbin, stopped a vehicle driving without headlights.
Upon conducting a search of the vehicle, officers discovered approximately 5 ounces of white powder, a firearm, scales, and currency. The driver, who was arrested for driving under the influence, now faces multiple charges.
The investigation continues as authorities process the seized items.
