Man Wanted in Connection to Triple Homicide and Assault in Wilkes County, Georgia

The Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI) and the Wilkes County Sheriff’s Office are seeking the public’s help in locating 56-year-old Shannon Box, of Tignall, Georgia. Box is wanted for aggravated assault and questioning related to the deaths of three individuals in Wilkes County.

On Thursday, December 5, 2024, at approximately 8:30 a.m., Wilkes County deputies responded to the 900 block of Mallorysville Road in Tignall following reports of an injured woman. Deputies discovered that the woman had been attacked at a separate residence on the same road. Upon responding to the second home, deputies found three people dead inside, and preliminary investigation suggests their deaths are connected to a homicide.

Box is described as the suspect in the assault on the woman and is being sought in relation to the three deaths. He is believed to be driving a grey 2002 GMC Sierra pickup truck with a Georgia Handicap Tag, YXA119.
