Two Arrested in Gwinnett County After Road Rage Incident Leads to Shooting

Gwinnett County Police have arrested two suspects in connection with a road rage incident that escalated into a shooting on November 25, 2024. The incident took place in the parking lot of 3466 Holcomb Bridge Road in Peachtree Corners.

Officers were initially called to a local hospital around 3:30 p.m. in response to a shooting victim. After interviewing multiple individuals, they determined that the altercation began when the driver of a white BMW exchanged flashes of headlights with another vehicle in the parking lot. The situation quickly escalated into a physical confrontation between the two parties. During the altercation, one individual was shot by the male suspect.

Detectives reviewed security footage from the location, which helped identify the two suspects involved: Paola Nicole Cruz-Pena, 21, of Riverdale, and David Jesus Ravelo-Cedeno, 25, also of Riverdale. The suspect vehicle was located in Riverdale, and both suspects were arrested without incident.

Pena faces charges of aggravated assault, tampering with evidence, and battery. Cedeno faces multiple charges, including three counts of aggravated assault, aggravated battery, and possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime, among others. Both suspects are being held at the Gwinnett County Jail.
