Gainesville Man Arrested in Tennessee in Connection with Macon Homicide

Bibb County Sheriff’s Office investigators have arrested 39-year-old Adam Rosenthal of Gainesville, Florida, in connection with the death of 59-year-old Albert Kenneth Knight Jr., whose body was found in an alleyway on Popular Street in Macon on May 24, 2024.

Rosenthal, who was initially taken into custody in Pulaski, Tennessee, in an unrelated homicide investigation, was identified as a person of interest by the Giles County Sheriff’s Office. After an interview with Rosenthal, Bibb County investigators determined that he was linked to Knight’s death, which occurred from a severe head wound.

Warrants for Rosenthal’s arrest were served on December 4, 2024, charging him with murder in the death of Albert Kenneth Knight Jr. Rosenthal remains in custody in Tennessee, where he faces charges for an additional, unrelated murder.
