Pickens County Sheriff’s Office Investigates Hit-and-Run Crash in Jasper, Needs Help Locating Suspect
The Pickens County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a hit-and-run crash involving a pickup truck that occurred on November 13, 2024, at approximately 2:30 PM. The crash took place at the roundabout at the intersection of Steve Tate Highway and Cove Road in Jasper.
The driver of the dark red or maroon 2019 to current model RAM 1500 truck fled the scene after the incident. The driver is described as an older white male with gray hair. The truck is believed to have sustained front-end damage during the crash.
