Hiawassee Man Linked to Ghost Face Gangsters Arrested on Meth Charge
On Friday, November 22, Towns County Sheriff’s Investigators responded to a call on Twin Mountain Road, leading to the arrest of two Hiawassee residents. During the investigation, probable cause was established, and methamphetamine—confirmed through field testing—was seized at the scene.
Ronald Shane Lowary, 38, and Christine Cardona, 49, were taken into custody. Lowary faces charges of felony possession of methamphetamine and possession and use of drug-related objects. Cardona was charged with possession and use of drug-related objects.
Authorities also identified Lowary as an active member of the Ghost Face Gangsters, a known violent criminal gang. The investigation remains ongoing.
