Woman Arrested in Armed Robbery of Dollar General in Macon

The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigations Division has arrested 26-year-old Diamond Robinson of Macon in connection with an armed robbery at the Dollar General located at 4471 Jeffersonville Road.

Robinson was apprehended on Friday, November 22, 2024, near the 2400 block of Goodwin Drive. The robbery occurred the previous day, November 21, when a woman entered the store brandishing a firearm, demanded money from the clerk, and fled with an undisclosed amount of cash. The suspect was described as wearing camouflage clothing, a black mask, and black gloves during the incident.

After her arrest, Robinson was transported to Investigations Headquarters before being booked into the Bibb County Law Enforcement Center. She faces charges of two counts of Aggravated Assault, two counts of Kidnapping, Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of a Crime, and Armed Robbery.
