Arrest Made in 0,000 Skid Steer Theft from Statesboro Construction Site

An arrest has been made in the theft of two skid steer machines valued at over $100,000 from a construction site on South Main Street in Statesboro on November 20, 2024.

Surveillance photos of the suspect and his vehicle had been previously released to the media in hopes of generating leads. Following numerous tips and a thorough investigation by detectives, Jamie Lynn Allen, 44, of Uvalda, Georgia, was arrested by the Dublin Police Department on two counts of Theft by Taking-Motor Vehicle.

Allen was transported to the Bulloch County Jail, where he remains in custody pending further judicial action. The investigation is ongoing, and additional charges or arrests may follow.
