Personal Dispute Leads to Gunshot Injury in Statesboro, Suspect Sought

On November 17, 2024, at approximately 8:00 p.m., officers with the Statesboro Police Department (SPD) responded to the first block of Bobby Donaldson Avenue following a gunshot detection alert from Flock’s Raven sensors. A third-party caller also reported a male had been shot at the same location.

Upon arrival, officers found an adult male victim suffering from a gunshot wound to the torso. The victim was transported by EMS to East Georgia Regional Medical Center before being transferred to Memorial Hospital in Savannah. He is currently in stable condition.

SPD detectives believe the shooting was the result of a personal dispute between the victim and the suspect.
