K-9 Unit Deputy Arrests Driver for Illegal Parking and Dumping Trash in Bibb County

A driver was arrested in Bibb County on charges of illegal parking and dumping trash after a K-9 Interdiction Unit deputy responded to the scene.

According to reports, the deputy was called to Edwards Avenue in response to a moving truck illegally parked on the roadway, blocking a sign and causing traffic disruptions near a school. Upon arriving, the deputy was also directed to a nearby abandoned lot, where he discovered trash, including moving boxes and other discarded items.

Further investigation revealed that the trash contained mail linked to the truck’s driver, leading to the driver’s arrest. The individual was taken into custody and transported to the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office Law Enforcement Center.
