Traffic Stop in Reynolds Leads to Two Arrests on Drug and Firearm Charges

A Flock Safety Camera alert about an expired vehicle registration resulted in a traffic stop by Reynolds Police Officer Bell, leading to the arrest of two individuals on multiple charges.

The incident occurred within the city limits of Reynolds. During the stop, Officer Bell established probable cause to search the vehicle, which uncovered illegal narcotics and firearms.

John Barrow, a 60-year-old male from Butler, GA, was arrested and faces charges including:

  • Expired registration
  • Possession of methamphetamine
  • Possession of marijuana (less than an ounce)
  • Possession of drug-related objects
  • Possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony

The passenger, 56-year-old Shenda Reeves from Reynolds, was also arrested and charged with:

  • Possession of methamphetamine
  • Possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony
  • Possession of a firearm by a convicted felon

Authorities indicated that additional charges against both Barrow and Reeves may be forthcoming. The investigation is ongoing.
