Marquis Green

Marquis Green, 27, of Auburn, has been arrested and charged in connection with the suspicious death of Robert Terry, 60, of Lawrenceville, whose body was discovered on October 29 at his residence on 1241 Mount Vernon Drive.

Officers responded to a welfare check after Terry had not been heard from for several weeks. Upon entering the home, they discovered Terry deceased. Homicide investigators and the Gwinnett County Medical Examiner’s Office launched an investigation, and an autopsy conducted on October 30 ruled the death a homicide.

Surveillance footage captured Green withdrawing thousands of dollars from Terry’s accounts while driving Terry’s vehicle.

Green was located on November 14 at a restaurant in Duluth and taken into custody without incident. He was transported to the Gwinnett County Jail and faces multiple charges, including felony murder, robbery by intimidation, aggravated assault, financial transaction card fraud, concealing the death of another, identity theft, computer forgery, theft by taking, and aggravated cruelty to animals.
