Man Shot While Driving on I-75 Southbound Near Porsche Avenue in Atlanta

On November 13, 2024, at approximately 2:52 PM, officers responded to reports of a person shot on the I-75 Southbound Expressway near Porsche Avenue SW. Upon arrival, they located a 31-year-old male who had sustained a gunshot wound to his left shoulder. The victim was conscious, alert, and breathing, and he was transported to a local hospital for treatment.

Preliminary investigation suggests that while the male was driving his vehicle on the expressway, he was struck by gunfire from a separate, unidentified vehicle. Investigators from the Aggravated Assault Unit have responded to the scene and are working to determine the circumstances surrounding the shooting. The investigation remains ongoing.
