Richmond County Sheriff’s Office Issues Alert for Planned Explosive Disposal on November 14

The Richmond County Sheriff’s Office has announced that on Thursday, November 14, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., the Richmond County Bomb Unit will be conducting a disposal of old and recovered explosive materials at the sheriff’s office training center on Greenland Road in Blythe. Residents in the area may hear and feel explosions during this time. The sheriff’s office advises notifying anyone who may be affected by the planned activity.
