Wilkinson County Home Targeted in Drive-By Shooting, Injuring Two Teen Brothers

In the early hours of November 5, 2024, two teenage brothers in Gordon, Georgia, were injured when gunfire erupted outside their home on Zollie Lavender Road. According to the Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI), who are assisting the Wilkinson County Sheriff’s Office, the shooting occurred around 12:05 a.m. when an unknown person or group fired into the residence.

The 14-year-old brothers were asleep when struck by the gunfire. Both were transported to a local hospital, treated, and subsequently released.

Investigators are actively working the case, though no arrests have been made as of now.
