Atlanta Police Arrest 19-Year-Old in Peachtree Hills Stabbing of 78-Year-Old Man

On the morning of November 3, 2024, at approximately 7:52 a.m., Atlanta Police Zone 2 officers responded to a reported stabbing at a residence on the 2100 block of Fairhaven Circle NE in the Peachtree Hills neighborhood. Officers arrived to find 78-year-old Daniel Guidotti with multiple stab wounds. Guidotti was transported to a local hospital by EMS, where he remains in stable condition.

Investigators believe the incident to be domestic in nature. A 19-year-old suspect, identified as Claude Jayy from Cumming, Georgia, was taken into custody at the scene. Jayy faces charges of Aggravated Assault and Abuse of an Elderly Person. The relationship between Guidotti and Jayy has not been disclosed.

The investigation remains ongoing.
