Columbus Traffic Stop Uncovers Ecstasy, Marijuana, and Synthetic Drugs

During a recent crime suppression operation, Columbus Police conducted a traffic stop near 6th Avenue and 40th Street, leading to the discovery of suspected drugs in plain view. A subsequent search of the vehicle revealed 49 ecstasy pills, 42.9 grams of synthetic cannabinoids (spice), 10.5 grams of marijuana, and items linked to drug distribution.

The driver, identified as Tisha Gibson, was arrested and faces multiple charges, including:

  • Possession of Marijuana with Intent
  • Possession of MDMA with Intent
  • Drug-Related Object
  • Possession of Schedule One (Spice) Synthetic Cannabinoid

Officers also seized $264 in cash during the arrest.
