18-Year-Old Arrested for August Homicide and Albany State University Homecoming Shooting

On October 29, 2024, Albany Police arrested 18-year-old Jeremy L. Marshall in connection with the August 9, 2024, shooting death of 19-year-old Aaron Donye White on the 200 block of Grant Place. Marshall is also linked to the Albany State University Homecoming shooting that occurred on October 19, 2024, currently under investigation by the GBI.

Marshall faces charges of Murder (Party to Crime) and multiple counts of Aggravated Assault. He has been booked into the Dougherty County Jail.
