60-Year-Old Woman Arrested in Towns County Drug Bust, Meth and Cash Seized

A month-long drug investigation led the Towns County Sheriff’s Office to arrest Mary Ann Walker, 60, of Calhoun, Georgia, following a traffic stop on October 21, 2024. Acting on a tip and after two weeks of surveillance, deputies developed probable cause during the stop and conducted a vehicle search, seizing methamphetamine packaged for sale, marijuana, Xanax pills, drug paraphernalia, and a sum of cash.

Walker faces multiple charges, including felony possession of methamphetamine, possession with intent to distribute, and possession of marijuana and drug-related objects. Sheriff Ken Henderson praised the efforts of the drug investigation team for preventing the transport of these drugs into the community. Walker is currently being held pending further court proceedings.
