Driver Arrested for DUI with Toddler After Crashing into Guardrail in Bibb County
A female driver was arrested for driving under the influence after she jumped the curb and hit a guardrail on Sardis Church Road, according to the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office H.E.A.T. Unit.
Deputy Shane Smith responded to the incident and discovered a toddler was present in the vehicle at the time of the crash. The woman now faces charges of Driving Under the Influence and DUI Child Endangerment.
The Governor’s Office of Highway Safety H.E.A.T. Unit aims to address aggressive and dangerous driving behaviors, along with targeting impaired drivers on the roads.
