Savannah Police Arrest 18-Year-Old in Connection with Fatal May Shooting on Crane Street
The Savannah Police Department arrested Elijah Roundtree, 18, on October 15 in connection with the fatal May 18 shooting near the intersection of 56th and Crane Street. Roundtree has been charged with homicide.
On May 18, officers responded to reports of gunfire at approximately 9:20 p.m. near 56th and Crane Street. Upon arrival, police discovered an adult male victim who had succumbed to his injuries. A male juvenile was also found near Montgomery and 56th Street with gunshot wounds. He was treated at the scene and transported to Memorial Health University Medical Center.
