Bartow County Sheriff Seeks Help Identifying Suspect in Theft from Hurricane Evacuees

The Bartow County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a woman suspected of stealing a duffel bag from Hurricane Milton evacuees. The theft occurred on Monday, October 14th, around 5:00 a.m. at the T&M Food Mart located in the 2300 block of GA-113 in Taylorsville, GA.

The family had stopped to refuel when the suspect allegedly took the bag containing their belongings. Surveillance footage captured both the suspect and the vehicle involved.
