Atlanta Police Investigating Fatal Hit-and-Run on Lee Street

On October 15, 2024, at approximately 5:26 a.m., officers from Atlanta Police Zone 4 responded to a hit-and-run call at 1193 Lee Street SW. Upon arrival, officers discovered a 30-year-old female pedestrian who had been struck by a vehicle. Medical personnel pronounced the victim dead at the scene.

Investigators are working to determine the circumstances of the incident, as the driver involved did not remain at the scene. The investigation is ongoing.
