Hughes faces three counts of aggravated assault following an incident in which he entered a vehicle in the parking lot containing three passengers while armed with a gun. A struggle ensued, resulting in one male passenger being shot in the leg, while Hughes sustained a gunshot wound to the arm. Two females in the vehicle, including Hughes’ estranged girlfriend, were not injured during the incident.
