Major Drug Bust in Murray County: Over 2 Pounds of Meth Seized
On Tuesday, October 9th, narcotics investigators with the Murray County Sheriff’s Office executed a search warrant related to the distribution of methamphetamine. During the operation, authorities discovered approximately 2.2 pounds (1,026 grams) of methamphetamine at the property.
In addition to the drugs, law enforcement seized over $7,000 in cash. As a result of the investigation, Charles Cochran was arrested.
Cochran faces several charges, including:
- Trafficking in Methamphetamine
- Possession of Methamphetamine with Intent to Distribute
- Possession of Methamphetamine
- Possession of Drug-Related Objects
