Fugitive Wanted for Murder Captured in Muscogee County

On October 7, 2024, the Muscogee County Sheriff’s Office Special Operations Unit, in collaboration with the United States Marshal’s Service, arrested 28-year-old fugitive James Edward-Lee Reels. Reels was wanted on a Felony Bench Warrant for Murder issued in Webster County, Georgia.

He was apprehended in Muscogee County and was transported to the Muscogee County Jail without incident. Reels is currently awaiting extradition back to Webster County.

Reels has a history of arrests and previously served time at Washington State Prison for a conviction.
