Union County Student Arrested for Terroristic Threats at Brasstown Valley Resort Party

On Saturday, September 21, 2024, a 17-year-old Union County Schools student made terroristic threats against the school to three juvenile students during a party at Brasstown Valley Resort.

Towns County Sheriff’s Office investigators interviewed witnesses at the scene. Since the incident occurred within Towns County, the Sheriff’s Office assumed jurisdiction and initiated an investigation.

The suspect, identified as Abraham Parker Patrick, age 17, of Blairsville, GA, was arrested and charged with Felony Terroristic Threats. He is currently being held without bond at the Towns County Detention Center.

Sheriff Ken Henderson emphasized that threats against schools, students, and staff will be taken seriously and met with swift legal action.
