Macon Teen Wanted in Connection to August Homicide, Believed to Be in Atlanta

Bibb County Sheriff’s Office Investigators are seeking the public’s assistance in locating 17-year-old Johnquavis Leonardo Ruthledge, a Macon resident wanted in connection to the death investigation of 20-year-old Gabreon Tyrese Harrison. The incident occurred on August 1, 2024, in the 2400 block of Holland Drive.

Authorities have issued warrants for Ruthledge’s arrest. He is described as being five feet seven inches tall and weighing approximately 140 pounds. Investigators believe Ruthledge may have fled to the Atlanta area.
