Three Gilmer County Men Charged with Murder in Shooting Death of 19-Year-Old Woman

Gilmer County Sheriff Stacy Nicholson has announced that three men from Ellijay have been charged with Felony Murder following an investigation into the shooting death of 19-year-old Mallory Lyric Warden from Jasper. The incident occurred on Wednesday, September 18, 2024, at approximately 10:50 PM.

Deputies from the Gilmer County Sheriff’s Office responded to a 911 call about a person being shot in the 200 block of South Main Street in Ellijay. Upon arrival, deputies and EMS personnel found Warden in a vehicle with a gunshot wound. She was transported to the hospital, where she later died. The investigation revealed that the shooting had taken place on Talona Road in Gilmer County.

Following the investigation, Gray Anthony McClure, 21, Robert Gabriel Shoilekov, 17, and Davonnte Lavon Brehon, 18, all of Ellijay, were charged with Felony Murder. The investigation is being led by the Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI) and Gilmer County Sheriff’s Office detectives.
