Warner Robins Officer Arrested on Sexual Battery and Violation of Oath of Office

The Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI) has arrested Ray Dexter Ewings, age 30, of Warner Robins, GA, on charges of Sexual Battery and Violation of Oath of Office. The arrest follows a request for investigation made by the Warner Robins Police Department (WRPD) on July 19, 2024.

A complaint filed with WRPD on July 18, 2024, alleged that Ewings, while on duty and acting in his official capacity as a WRPD officer, inappropriately touched an individual in a sexual manner. The GBI secured arrest warrants for Ewings on September 13, 2024. He was terminated from the Warner Robins Police Department on July 30, 2024, as a result of an internal affairs investigation.

Ewings has been booked into the Houston County Jail. The investigation remains active and ongoing.
