Former Lithonia School Aide Indicted on Sexual Relationship with Student
A Union City man has been indicted on charges in connection with an alleged sexual relationship with a student.
On Tuesday, September 17th, a DeKalb County Grand Jury indicted Marcus Lyndell Skeen, 38, on two counts of Sexual Contact by Employee or Agent in the First Degree.
According to the preliminary investigation, the student’s mother reported the inappropriate relationship to school officials in March 2022. According to the arrest warrant, Skeen and the student were in his car outside Stonecrest Mall around 11:30 pm on March 18, 2022 when the girl’s mother caught them. She had tracked her daughter’s cellphone to the parking lot.
Skeen was an employee at Lithonia High School at the time.
The case will be assigned to a Superior Court Judge and set down for arraignment. Once Defendant Skeen has been arraigned, then a trial date may be set.
