Masked Burglar Breaks Through Wall, Steals Clothes and Purses in Atlanta Business Burglary
On September 3, 2024, at approximately 3:39 a.m., Atlanta Police officers responded to a burglary at a business located at 572 Edgewood Avenue. The key holder, who had been alerted by the business’s alarm system, reported the incident upon arrival.
Preliminary investigations revealed that a male suspect, wearing a mask and hoodie, gained entry by breaking through a drywall connected to a bathroom, which resulted in a ruptured water pipe. The suspect stole clothes and purses from the business. Surveillance footage captured images of the suspect, who is now being reviewed by investigators. Additionally, officers collected fingerprints from the crime scene. The investigation is ongoing.
