Man Dead, Woman Shot, and Another Injured in Savannah Shooting on W. Congress Lane

Savannah Police Detectives are investigating a shooting that occurred on August 30 in the 100 block of W. Congress Lane. The incident resulted in the death of an adult male and left an adult female with gunshot wounds. Another adult male sustained an injury to his hand.

At approximately 2:15 a.m., officers responded to reports of gunfire. Upon arrival, they discovered an adult male with gunshot wounds. Shortly afterward, officers located two additional victims. The two individuals with gunshot wounds were transported to Memorial Medical Center, where one later died from his injuries. The adult male with the hand injury declined medical treatment at the scene.
