Gwinnett County Sheriff’s Office Arrests Two in Undercover Child Exploitation Sting

Investigators with the Gwinnett County Sheriff’s Office Trafficking and Child Exploitation (TRACE) Unit executed two successful undercover Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) operations, leading to the arrests of Yash Patel and Jacob Stipcak. Both suspects were apprehended after engaging in online communication with an undercover investigator posing as a child.

Yash Patel was arrested at a pre-determined location on August 19. He faces charges including Obscene Internet Contact with a Child, Electronically Furnishing Obscene Material to Minors, Use Computer Service to Seduce, Solicit, Lure or Entice Children, and Criminal Attempt to Commit a Felony. Jacob Stipcak was taken into custody on August 20 and is charged with Obscene Internet Contact with a Child, Electronically Furnishing Obscene Material to Minors, and Use Computer Service to Seduce, Solicit, Lure or Entice Children.
