On January 12, 2023, Shaun Mills, Terrell Mills, and Corey Wallace entered a home on the south side of Jones County, committing offenses including home invasion, armed robbery, and aggravated assault. The victims of the incident were a mother and her three children.

Nine days later, on January 21, 2023, Shaun Mills, Terrell Mills, Corey Wallace, and Donnie White, all residents of Macon in Bibb County, entered the 49er Mart off Shurling Drive. They committed multiple counts of armed robbery and aggravated assault during the incident.

Following the 49er Mart robbery, the Jones County Sheriff’s Office made several arrests. Terrell Mills, a four-time convicted felon with a history that included a previous murder charge in Bibb County, received seven life sentences today in Jones County for his involvement in these crimes. Shaun Mills, also a four-time convicted felon, received seven life sentences last week for his role in the offenses in Jones County.

Corey Wallace, whose participation in these events marked his first felony offense, received a sentence of fifty years, with thirty years to be served in prison earlier this year. Donnie White, also facing his first felony conviction, was sentenced today to fifty years, with fifteen years to be served in prison.

The Jones County Sheriff’s Office, including Crystal Murphy and John David Simmons, played a significant role in the investigation and arrests. The District Attorney’s Office also acknowledged the assistance of Investigator Tony Moss from the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office and Clay Wiggins from the District Attorney’s Office.

“Let this be a warning to all criminals that Jones County is not the place to commit crime. We are closed for business. Don’t cross the county line!”, said District Attorney T. Wright Barksdale III in a statement.
