GBI Investigates Deaths of Townsend Couple

The Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI) is looking into the deaths of Kyle Bradford Bailey, 36, and Catherine Irene Daugherty, 44, both of Townsend, GA.

On August 19, 2024, McIntosh County deputies conducted a welfare check at the home of Bailey and Daugherty in Townsend after family members and employers reported they were unable to reach them. Deputies found both individuals dead inside the residence.

The bodies have been transported to the GBI Medical Examiner’s Office for autopsies.
