Fatal Head-On Collision on Tucker Road Claims Life of 66-Year-Old, Injures 22-Year-Old Motorist

The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a fatal accident that occurred on Tucker Road at Foster Road. The incident was reported to the Macon-Bibb E-911 Center on August 13, 2024, at 2:11 p.m.

Upon arrival, deputies found 66-year-old Robert Wayne Howard unresponsive. Coroner Leon Jones pronounced Howard deceased at the scene. The next of kin has been notified.

A second motorist, a 22-year-old female, was injured and transported to the hospital by ambulance. Hospital staff report that she is in stable condition.
